The Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners (JCCP) has been established as a vehicle to promote patient safety in the world of non-surgical aesthetics and hair restoration surgery. It achieves this by the provision of information/advice to the public and its ‘Practitioner Register’.
Practitioners must meet stringent entry requirements, sign up to a strict Code of Practice and operate within a new set of standards and competences.
JCCP was formally launched in 2018 as a ‘self-regulating’ body for the nonsurgical aesthetics and hair restoration sector in the United Kingdom.
Our Practitioner Register has achieved Professional Standards Authority (PSA) recognition and charitable status. The charitable status reflects the overarching not-for-profit mission of the JCCP which is to improve patient safety and public protection.
